Welcome everyone. Welcome back to another episode. I am Richard Ravenbrook and what Spirit wants to talk about today is the similarities in religions. You know, we have many religions out there but we really only have one main religion that, it seems, always wants to belittle the others, always wants to diminish other religions and the light that they shine, the teachings that they teach and the blessings that they give us. Religion in itself is full of limits, it's inside the box and it limits our enlightenment, it limits our ability to grow in spirit.
Speaker 1:But today spirit wants to talk about the similarities within religions Because you know I've said before that truth, spiritual truth, is like a jigsaw puzzle with the pieces scattered all over the world. And the pieces are found in all of the philosophies and religions, all the traditions around the world. And when we can take all those pieces and we can look at them with an open mind and an open heart, we begin to see the truth for what it is, the whole truth, not just a version of the truth like religion gives us, but it gives us spiritual truth that spirit gives us. The similarities are mind boggling, to say the least. When you begin to deconstruct from mainstream religion, you start to see these similarities and some of these similarities have to be taught by spirit, because we've been so Bowel, beaten and brainwashed To beaten and brainwashed to refuse to believe anything else but what we read and what we've been told how to interpret that as that we don't understand or believe or trust the fact that we can interpret things in a different way.
Speaker 1:And the written word can be dangerous, because the written word, if not written correctly, can mean something entirely different than what the original author intended. It can change the entire setting, change the entire meaning. A simple comma, you know, simple punctuation and this, or even, let's just say, let's just put sarcasm as an example. You know, if I were to just write down something in a sarcastic attitude or a sarcastic manner, could you recognize that in just reading the words? Probably not, unless you could take other pieces. You know, I understand that we take the paragraphs before and we take the paragraphs after and vice versa, and we can kind of see where the author is going, where the speaker is actually going, what the mindset of the speaker is.
Speaker 1:But when it comes to interpretation, so many people take verses, take small bits of scripture, and want to apply that to life, want to apply different things to life today, in the year 2024, like it was in 20 BC, and it simply cannot be. You know, when I begin to talk about the similarities, when I begin to talk about things like the Magi that went to see the baby Jesus and the story of baby Jesus and Mary and Joseph, the Magi. Do we understand what Magi, what they are? The Magi are astrologers. They are men of the wise. They understood herbal medicine, the wise. They understood herbal medicine. They understood the use of certain incense and stones and crystals and they were what we would interpret today as men of magic, men of the occult, and what we would interpret today as evil. But they were the farthest thing from evil, because we know even the man many call Jesus.
Speaker 1:We know that Jesus is not his legitimate name, but we know that the Bible only speaks about three years of his life, that we know that he went to different places around the world to learn these arts, that he became a master, that he never intended to gain followers he never intended to gain followers, that he only he came to create leaders and he didn't want to be the Christ, but he wanted to teach all of us that we were Christ's consciousness, that when we become enlightened we become like him. He was saying follow in what I do, follow in what I did, learn the things that I learned and walk the way I'm trying to instruct you to walk. But how can you do that if you don't know? How do you know when your Bible doesn't tell you? But there's information that's out there. Don't be afraid to look for it. Don't be afraid to research it for it. Don't be afraid to research it.
Speaker 1:Don't be afraid to understand that what you've been taught is not correct or that it is limited or it's only a portion of the truth, that maybe they're not lying to you, but they sure aren't telling you the entire truth. They're only telling you just enough to keep you happy but to keep you powerless. The similarities you're gonna say. Well, you know let's just take the Christian which, for example, that there's no way that you can be a Christian and a witch at the same time. Not many people will say that, but when you become enlightened you can understand that and I'm trying to get this right, trying to get it to where people can understand that, in perception of how we interpret terms and how we see things, means all the difference when we say the word witch, religious leaders and church leaders, and all of this in the past and even in the current, we see it just crazily.
Speaker 1:You know, the word is tainted so much that when someone says just the word, automatically you go to something that is dark, something that is evil, something that is wrong Because the Bible says this and the Bible says that. But what you don't understand is those things have been edited, they have been altered and they were speaking of different things and in different perceptions of what we have today, that what we have, what people would classify as a witch, is simply someone that understands the use of herbs, understands the purposes and the vibrations and the use of crystals and stones. They understand the balance of life, they honestly understand things better than the typical church-going Christian. And the Christian witch is merely someone that follows Jesus, or follows the man we call Jesus, but believes and understands all of the things of the wise the herbs, the stones, the stars, the astrology, all the things that the magi work. We begin to understand that in that perception, just because we see it as dark, because we've been told it's dark, doesn't necessarily mean it's dark. But people who want to, they hear the word, they hear the label and they automatically put a stamp on and say you know, boom, that's, that's evil. We can't have that in here, which that is totally unacceptable, without first diving into it and researching and understanding, trying to get an understanding of just what People mean by Christian witch. They want to understand.
Speaker 1:And when you begin to deconstruct and this is why you know, when I first Began really deconstructing, I came out with the With kingdom magic, because I knew, when I was ministering in the church, I knew that there was something missing, there was something that you know, when spirit told me that, however you classify it magic, miracle, just the essence of power within divinity, it's all the same. It's neither good nor evil, it simply is. And it's the heart of the man or the woman that makes what they do evil or good, not in the power itself. But Christians, so many times within the church, they're afraid of the power, they're afraid to actually get in and explore these things because we've all been blinded and brainwashed to believe that if anything's outside the four walls of the church it's evil, and people it's not the similarities in all of these things.
Speaker 1:When we begin to look at the Buddhist and the Hindu and we begin to look into meditation and how it aligns with basically somewhat the same thing as prayer, when we see the person that classifies himself as a witch or Wicca, and we see them lighting candles and burning incense. But then we can go into the church and we see them lighting candles and incense. You know, we can see the similarities everywhere, but the classifications, the perceptions and the interpretations are what divide everything, because ignorant people have spread ignorance instead of knowledge and wisdom and truth. Now, don't get me wrong. I know there's bad out there and there's people that will classify themselves, as you know, whatever it may be, and they'd be evil. But there's even evil within the church and within all religions, because, remember what I said, the power is neither good nor evil, it simply is.
Speaker 1:It is the truth, it is the essence of life, it is the essence of all that we are, that we all are connected together Humanity and the animals, and the trees, and the plants, and the ground, and the sky, everything. We are all tied together and that's why the balance of life is so important, because when we begin to disregard the natural balance of things, we begin to hinder ourselves, we begin to hurt ourselves. Illnesses pop up and sicknesses. Where death of this creature, other deaths will occur, and we don't understand that this balance is critical. That's why we're seeing this world right now going, just it's going crazy tornadoes and hurricanes and floods, and and you have so many people. Well, that's just, that's just the divine it's getting ready to end. No, it's because we've gone through another cycle and humanity has not learned anything.
Speaker 1:Once again, that we understand that the earth, yes, she regenerates herself, but sometimes, when so much abuse has been done to her, sometimes that regeneration Is More Than what Would have been necessary. But that we have done so much damage and so much destruction because of ignorance and not understanding the similarities within religion is part of that problem. Not understanding that all the religions oil, I'm gonna say most of the religions, all the major religions All have common factors, all tie in To what I'm gonna say is the basic, fundamental truths. They may label them different, they may title them different, they may call them by different names, but when we get to the root of the truth, they're the same. You're going to say, oh no, in my church we don't do this and we follow Jesus and we follow. Remember what I said you can't follow somebody you don't know and don't tell me that you follow Paul or you follow Peter or you follow these others, because they were mere disciples. If you're a follower of the Christ, then you follow one, not the others.
Speaker 1:Sure, you can read what they had to say and you can take that with a grain of salt, it can help as a teacher, but you don't take it as the one true word, and that's it. Because they were mere men, men that make serious mistakes. But the man that you guys are all talking about, even though they had to argue the divinity, the fact of the matter is the man we call Jesus, went to different areas and he learned things like astrology. He learned things like. He learned things like the arts, magic and herbs, and deeper and deeper. And I'm not going to go completely into all of this, but just know that he became the master and he did the things that he did because he learned who he was on this earth, and I'm not talking about as the child of God, but as a God Like we all are, when we begin to understand who we are.
Speaker 1:Even your own scripture and Jesus said this even to the Pharisees remember when he said know ye not that ye are gods, that people don't understand who they are, what they are, simply walking empty vessels of flesh with no power, because all they want to do is teach you that you need someone else. Because all they want to do is teach you that you need someone else To bow down on your knees and admit that you can't do anything in this life, that you're a failure. And that's not the truth. You know the man that we call Jesus. I know he would say rise up, get off of your knees and be who it is that you are, believe in the words that you speak, because your words are power, just like the person in magic, just like the person in Wicca.
Speaker 1:When you speak, when you pray, you manifest. These things are all the same. When someone that's performing a ritual lights the candle and puts all the effort and the intention into the candle, places the proper stones and says the words, they are manifesting their intention into the universe. When you pray, you are doing the same thing, just with a different technique and with a different. You're going to say well, no, I'm praying directly to somebody. It's all the same when we focus that intention into making change, when you pray for change, when you pray for someone else, that's what's happening. It's not, it's you that's performing the miracle, and you don't even realize it. You know, even the man you call Jesus said greater things. Will you do than I if all you got to do is believe, you're gonna say well, you're sounding kind of preachy right now.
Speaker 1:For because we know that the man that you call Jesus some say he was a sorcerer, some say that he was a man of magic People even the old paintings of him show him holding a wand. Did you know that that? We know that he studied these things. But we're scared sometimes, aren't we? Because we talk about these things and we know that we'll be shunned, that we'll be pushed out, that this won't be accepted. But we know in our heart it's the truth. We know that it's not evil, because it's only evil if we make it evil. It's only dark if we take it to a dark place within our heart. It's only bad when we do bad things with it that the power is there. You know the elements are there. It used to be the five-pointed star. The church used it for the five wounds of Christ. Did you know that? That's why you see a lot of pentacles of the pentagram on churches, old churches, because they used it as the five wounds of Christ.
Speaker 1:But we also know that it is the elements of earth, or should I say the elements of all the universe. Rather, you know, earth, fire, water, air, spirit these things are all that make up what we see and what we are. When we begin to understand these things, and we begin to understand that we are spirits in a physical experience, that we can begin to see things in a brighter light. We can begin to see things that we've never seen before. We can begin to even communicate with the animals and different species, that you can almost hear the trees conversate in the woods and you say, well, that just sounds crazy, and it is to someone that has never experienced it.
Speaker 1:When you begin to have that connection to everything around you, when you understand the elements for what they are, have that connection to everything around you, when you understand the elements for what they are, that they are what makes our physical bodies and our spirit. You know, even your Bible says that the creator created us from the dirt, from the ground of Mother Earth. That's why we call her Mother Earth, because our physical vessels, our physical bodies, came from her came from Mother Earth. You know our spirit comes from Father Spirit. You know our spirit comes from Father Spirit, but what we walk in, the elements that we are, are the same elements of Mother Earth, everything that she is, we are, everything that the animals are we are, and vice versa. You know, if we could take all of these elements and just scatter them all over the place, we could probably understand it in a way, that's. But when we take these things and we put them together in a natural form, when we begin to I don't know how to sometimes put these things into words, but I think the people that are listening understand what I'm saying.
Speaker 1:The art of creation is here. In creation, you can begin to see and understand the power that he held and that you can hold, because you see the similarities, you see the common factors of these things, that you begin to let go of the terms and the definitions and perceptions and interpretations. You know, religions have scattered people all over the place. Even one religion, christianity, has separated it into hundreds of denominations. Because they can't find the truth, because they deny the truth, not all of it, but most of it. They deny the very essence of the man that they say they follow, they deny what he learned when he said follow after me. What did he do? What did he learn? Unless you know those things, you can't truly follow.
Speaker 1:And the information is there and people will tell you oh, you can't trust that information because the people that any word that was inspired by spirit is the inspired word, any podcast that is inspired by spirit is inspired. Don, spirit is inspired. Don't we understand that? They'll say that this book over here, this is the only thing that there is. This is the only inspired word of Spirit, and that is a bold-faced lie. If you want to say God is alive today, but then you say there's no living spiritual word anymore, it's just that book, well, how is God alive? The kingdom of God is within you and if the spirit within you lives and breathes and you know it and you acknowledge it and you recognize it and you begin to recognize your power, you begin to shine, you begin to know so much more than any book can show you. Spirit will lead you to the information, will lead you to the resources, will lead you to the resources. Sometimes it can be a simple walk in the woods, in an epiphany, in a revelation and spirit will give this to you and say do you trust it?
Speaker 1:Can you Feel? Feel, not with your human feelings, but discern how you feel. You know that it's the truth. Ignore the debate within your mind, because your fleshly mind will argue it. Feel it. Thank you everybody. Feel it and a few other different places. It may take a few weeks for them to reach all the bookstores, but if you just go to Amazon and type in books by Richard Ravenbrook, I could definitely use your support. Books don't do any good unless they're read. Most of the books are off of the same topics as the podcast. Be blessed everybody and blessed be.
